Morning Assembly

For Over all development of students, Mahatma Gandhi Rajbhasha Hindi Prachar Sanstha (All India Official Language ) organised Hindi Competitive Exam 2022 23 , Azadi Ka Amrit Mahautsav under which a total number of 112 students from classes 1 to 10 of CT Public School participated with the guidance of their Hindi teachers (Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur, Mr. Dheeraj, Mrs. Monika) and made the school and parents proud by getting 'National Official Language Hindi Gaurav Ratan Puraskar', first, second, third and exciting positions in the examinations. Hindi Department Head Mrs. Neetu Seth congratulated the students for their achievements and Honourable School Principal , Mrs. Anuradha Chandel felicitated the students and said that such competitions are important for the holistic development of the students .

Morning Assembly in CT Kindergarten

*With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts*
Morning assembly is an integral part of the school’s schedule. CT Public School is always particular about its morning assembly schedule.Regular morning assembly helps children to build up confidence by speaking on the stage and enhancing their communication skills.
The assembly includes prayers, inspiring thoughts, speech, national anthem, etc. Morning assembly motivates the students to be active for their daily learning. It also brings new hope for a new day . 

Inauguration ceremony of Pop Corn Making Machine

 *LET'S POP THE CORN*

We are delighted to announce that the Inauguration ceremony of Pop Corn Making Machine was held at CT Public School .The ceremony was graced by the presence of Honourable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur .

The main purpose of inuagarting this Machine is to provide an education that includes entrepreneurship in the curriculum cannot be overlooked. Focusing on an environment in schools that helps students develop a wide range of valuable skills and competencies can benefit them personally, professionally, and socially. As a nation of innovators, we need to embrace this potential to benefit society as a whole, by fostering economic growth, innovation, and responsible citizenship. For these reasons, entrepreneurship education should be an integral part of the school curriculum. The overall vision of entrepreneurship training should be to equip students to handle diverse and multiple settings to ensure that they develop into versatile and holistic personalities. 

Multimedia Classes

Multimedia is not more media, but the employment of various kinds of media (and hybrid media) for what they each offer to advance the narrative.
Coding is the language of the future and every student should learn it."
Multimedia is a form of communication that uses a combination of different content forms such as text, audio, images, animations, or video into a single interactive presentation.
CT Public School has taken an initiative to introduce the subject multimedia to class ,7th as a skill course and a means of vocational training .Our students visited CT institute and learned about multimedia and its importance.

Cancer : Prevention and Treatment

A session on early detection of cancer and awareness programme was conducted on 3rd May, 2023 in CT Public School , Jalandhar during Morning Assembly.

Mr. Subroto Banerjee,the Program Officer of Caring Souls Foundation, Lucknow, explained thoroughly that
cancer continues to be a global health challenge, causing immense suffering and loss. However, by focusing on prevention, we have the power to make a significant impact on reducing its prevalence and saving countless lives.
Prevention is the key to fighting cancer because it allows us to address the root causes and minimize the risk factors associated with this devastating disease. While we have made remarkable progress in cancer treatments, we must shift our focus towards proactive measures to stop cancer before it even starts.
Worrhy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel thanked him by saying that
We need to join forces, both individually and as a community, to work towards a world free from the burden of cancer. Together, we have the power to save lives, bring hope, and make a lasting impact on generations to come. 

English Activity

 Using flashcards is one of the most common study methods, and it is the one with which many students are most familiar. Flashcards help students to engage in active recall or a process wherein students actively engage in learning by stimulating memories and creating lasting connections to the material.

In class 5 Topic of grammar was taught with the help of flash cards . Students prepared their own flash cards and charts accordingly and learned the concept of *kinds of sentences* in an easy way.

Our Worthy Principal,Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal,Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of these students and inspired them for more such learnings. 

Hindi Activity

 Special attention is paid to the personality development of children in CT Public School. Under this, efforts are made to make the students aware of the latest activities. As part of this series, students of classes VII and VIII were encouraged to draw on charts to better understand the Hindi Alphabets(Varnmala). All this activity was completed by the teacher Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur as per the direction of Head of Hindi Department, Mrs. Neetu Seth. Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur praised this methodology. She called it a commendable step for the personality development of the children.

Nature Walk of KG Wing

 *Nature walks are an opportunity to relax, take your time, and explore the environment. "A nature walk is a great way to 'unplug,' observe, and explore nature while enjoying the outdoors,"*

The students of LKG class had a wonderful activity of going outdoors in the vicinity of nature. They explored many different things in the nature and were shown different plants.
They were also told that plants play a major role in the environment so all should plant more and more trees and take care of them.
Going out in the nature increased their observational skills as the children were able to identify various items in nature. 

PTM in CT Kindergarten

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students. Honourable Principal ma’am , Mrs.Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur interacted with the parents about the students performance and adjustment of the kids in their new class and with new class teacher.

The PTM ended on a positive note.

Morning Assembly

 An assembly is conducted in school every morning before starting the class because it keeps our minds fresh and gives a positive vibe to start the day.
It helps in building a culture of communication and representation of academic and co-curricular activities. It is a very important part of school culture. It also helps to strengthen the way a school works. It also helps students to gather a lot of energy to do well and be good in their day.

Earth Day Celebrations

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed."

The United Nations celebrates the Earth Day as International Mother Earth Day. It is marked with the theme - “Harmony with Nature”.

CT Kindergarten celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm. Worthy Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal ma’am, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of students and shared the message that we should use eco friendly things to make our environment pollution free.

All the human beings should be well aware that, our Earth is getting polluted day by day. So it is our moral duty to work and save our earth by planting more and more trees making it more green and eco friendly, so that the future generation gets clean environment to live.

 

 

Kudos to Harshita

"Dance is the physical manifestation of emotion."

Harshita Gupta, one of the distinguished students of CT Public School, studying in class IX, participated in the dance competition organized by Indu Sharma, director of Shiv Natitya Kendra which was held at Lovely Profesional University on 23rd April, 2023.
She received second position in that dance competition and won the title of CUTE GIRL in the modeling contest as well. She was awarded with a certificate and a trophy. Honourble Principal Ma'am ,Mrs Anuradha Chandel appreciated her efforts and wished her best of luck for her bright future.

SCIENCE ACTIVITY

“We can teach from our experience, but we cannot teach experience.*

Science is a systematic endeavor that builds and organizes knowledge.
The students of grade 6B of CT Public School performed an activity on Balanced diet . They participated enthusiastically and were able to understand the importance of Balanced diet.
Honourable Principal ma’am , Mrs. Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal ma'am Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur and HOD Science Department ,Mr. Sanjesh appreciated the way students responded and learnt something new.

Morning Assembly

Morning Assembly brings entire school together as a family. It is the beginning of each day which establishes a positive tone for teachers and students and encourages positive involvement of all students in running of the assembly.
Morning Assembly at CT Public School is well organised where entire school is present with all the teachers and Principal. Students of Class I to Class XII assemble for Morning Assembly at Assembly area.
Each week, one of the assigned class conducts the morning assembly with full vigour and vitality, under the supervision of Class Incharge.
The daily features of assembly are Chanting of Mantras, Prayer, Song, Thought of the day, News headlines, Morning announcements followed by rendition of the National Anthem.

Fancy Dress Competition in CT Kindergarten

Looking good isn't self-importance; it's self-respect.

Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in our School programme, for the holistic development of the child. Keeping this in view, the UKG classes conducted a fancy dress competition on 24th April 2023 based on the theme, ‘Earth’ which was linked with World Earth day. Expectedly the morning reverberated with the excited chatter of students who were all ready and set to let everyone know what they had learnt about the environment!

The aim of the competition was, not only to blend learning with fun but also to discover the special talent in each of our budding kids.

The children were dressed in colourful and innovative costumes. Each one came up to speak a few sentences, to introduce him/ herself and the aspect of the theme they represented.

No child was disappointed, each one was a special delight. In fact each one had prepared one fact or another to share with the rest. The learning achieved was thus wide and extremely endearing.

Our parents deserve a big thank you, for collaborating to make the event an effective one. Every costume was carefully conceived and created from items of waste, with the child involved in the exercise-itself a great learning.

Honourable Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel congratulated the winners who had showcased wonderful talent on the stage. Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur also appreciated the efforts of the students.

 

 

 

 

Mathematics Activity

An activity on Indian and international place value system was conducted in class 5th.Students participated in this maths activity with great zeal.Through this activity they were able to do comparison between the two place value systems. Our worthy Principal Ma’am, Ms.Anuradha Chandel ,Vice Principal, Ms.Sukhdeep kaur and HOD of maths department, Mr.Rajesh kumar Shukla appreciated the efforts of teachers and students.

Topic - Ascending & Descending Order

In this exciting Art Integrated Activity, the students of Class 4th participated enthusiastically . They depicted the concept of Ascending and Descending Order and enjoyed this activity very much.

Our School Principal, Ms. Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal, Ms. Sukhdeep kaur and Maths HOD , Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla appreciated their efforts.

WINNERS OF INTER-HOUSE BULLETIN BOARD AND CLASS DISPLAY BOARDS AT CT PUBLIC SCHO

To give wings to the imagination of teachers and students, CT Public School organized an Inter House and Inter Class Display Boards Decoration Competition in which all the houses and classes participated and showed different art work. All of them tried their best to decorate their bulletin boards nicely. Honourable Principal of the school, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel appreciated the hard work of students and teachers.
