Morning Assembly
“The morning sets the day and the assembly paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality”.
The morning assembly at CT Public School starts with the invocation to the Almighty, followed by the thought. Latest news read by the students help everyone to update themselves with the recent happenings all around. Children pay honour to their country and school by singing the National Anthem.
The highlight of today’s assembly was the announcement of the winners of Class and House Display Boards by worthy Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel.She congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the Class Incharges and House Masters and their teams.

World Book Day
The enjoyment of reading books is celebrated on World Book Day on April 23. It’s a day to celebrate the privilege of being able to read, so the students and staff of CT Public School heads to the library to read good stuff.
Students from different grades were taken to the library not only to read books but they also prepared beautiful book marks. “A room without books is like a body without a soul. So dear friends, let’s read books and live our lives.

Social Science Activity
The students of Class 5th performed an activity to understand 'Our Earth' through its model,’ GLOBE’. They performed this activity by showing and creating Globe. Students are showing continents' location on it. They participated in this activity with great Zeal and enthusiasm.
Our School Principal, Ms. Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of students and S.Sc faculty for engaging students in this interesting and informative activity.

Birds Feeding Activity
CT Kindergarten organised bird feeding activity today. The purpose behind this activity was to make the children aware of the natural habitat of birds.Birds should be nurtured with love care and affection.
Children learn and benefit enormously from nature, particularly at very young age, so making bird feeders to attract the birds is a very worthwhile activity. It also supports several aspects of the EYFS curriculum, including understanding the world, nurturing creativity and much more. The Kindergarten was decorated with beautiful and colourful feeding pans which looked like a miniature of aviary in CT Kindergarten.
Honourable Principal ma’am,Mrs. Anuradha Chandel shared the message with kids to love birds and feeding birds
will attract them to the natural food sources in our landscape. Vice Principal , Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur also appreciated the efforts put in for the smooth conduct of the activity.

Special Assembly

The students of CT Public School enthusiastically participated in various activities to commemorate our benevolent Mother Earth.
A special assembly was also held to celebrate the Mother Earth wherein the school choir presented a beautiful prayer which was followed by a soulful dance dedicated to our blue planet. A special Speech was given by the House mistress of Kalpana Chawla House, Mrs. Sarita Sharma in which she laid emphasis on how we could save our mother earth for our young generation .
To celebrate this day Inter house Essay writing and Poster making competitions were organised in the School. Worthy Principal,Mrs.Anuradha Chandel praised the efforts of all the students and asked them to thank the Mother Earth for all its bountiful gifts in the form of all flora, fauna and beautiful landscapes.The corridors of the school reverberated with thethoughtful slogans raised by the students as they took a green walk to sensitize others about theimportance of saving environment.

Earth Day Activities
Earth Day is an annual global event, observed on April 22, that celebrates the environmental movement and raises awareness about pollution and ways to maintain a clean habitat.
On the occasion of the Earth day ,various activities were conducted at CT Public School with students of grades 1-5 to raise awareness among students on the need of protecting environment.
The students of grades 1 & 2 prepared greetings cards, 3rd class made wall hangings and 4th to 5th class students did poster making. Honourable Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of the students and the activity incharge.

Importance and Value of Trees
Since the beginning, trees have furnished us with two of life’s essentials —food and oxygen. As we evolved, they provided additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and tools. Today, their value continues to increase and more benefits of trees are being discovered as their role expands to satisfy the needs created by our modern lifestyles.
Punjabi Department of CT Public School conducted an activity for the students of class 5 on the importance of trees . The students drew pictures, made posters and wrote articles on the value of trees. Honourable Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of students and Punjabi faculty.

Baisakhi celebrations in CT Kindergarten
Baisakhi or Vaisakhi is one of the most popular harvest festivals in India. It is mainly a Sikh festival celebrated especially in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh with great zeal and enthusiasm. It also marks the commencement of the Sikh new year and Sikhs pay tribute to their tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh.
CT Kindergarten students participated with great zeal to celebrate this festival. They performed dances and rhymes, dressed in traditional Punjabi attire.
Honourable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel shared her message with the kids and told them the importance of Baisakhi festival and the culture of Punjab . Vice Principal , Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of all the students and wished everyone Happy Baisakhi.

Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji Path
Before the commencement of the new academic session, 2023-24, the Management of CT Public School organised Shri Sukhmani Sahib Paath at the school premises to seek the Almighty’s blessings. Worthy Co Chairperson of school, Mrs.Parminder Kaur Channi , Madam,Mrs.Tanika Channi, worthy Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal, Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur and the entire CT staff marked their presence to pay obeisance, expressing gratitude and praying for everyone’s well-being and success as we are on the verge of stepping into the new session.
Besides the path, shabad gayan done by the staff filled the entire ambience with holiness and optimism.
The sacred event marked its completion with ‘Ardaas’ and distribution of ‘Deg’ (Prasad), which was followed by Community Lunch‘Guru Ka Langar’ for the whole gathering.
Everyone wished for the bright future and success of the students in the new session.

Visit to Prayas Orphanage
“If you have been blessed, be a blessing to others.”
Life becomes more meaningful when you encounter less privileged people. With this vision,
the members of CT family paid a visit to ,”Prayas Orphanage”.
Showing their love and concern for the orphanage children, they donated an amount of Rs.11000, food items and goodies to them. They made these donations whole heartedly with exuberance for the cause.
Their interaction with the children brought smiles on their faces.They felt that interacting with children at the orphanage goes beyond the cash gifts, clothing, and goodies that they receive. They deserve more than that. We owe them a life. The visit was a fulfilling experience. It takes a heart of gold to live for others.

Orientation Programme held by CT Kindergarten
An Orientation Programme was held by CT KINDERGARTEN on 1st April for the students and parents to help them to familiarize with their class teachers and their expectations, thus establishing a sense of feeling comfortable and accustomed.
It's important to make the students feel basically confident and positive towards their work and environment leading to a greater probability for success and help them to optimize their previous learning experience..
In this orientation program, the teachers motivated the students and familiarised them with the new syllabus and also how to maintain their books, notebooks and diaries. They apprised them with various rules and regulations regarding discipline in order to foster better relationships between students and teachers and between students themselves.
Worthy Co-Chairperson Madam Parminder Kaur Channi Ji , Honourable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur also shared their messages with the parents regarding overall working of the school.

Birthday celebrations of Honourable Co-Chairperson, Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi
It was a joyful occasion for all the members of CTPS family to celebrate the birthday of the honourable Co Chairperson, Mrs.Parminder Kaur Channi ji, on 4th April in the school premises. The occasion was also graced by the presence of respectable Mrs.Tanika Channi.
The staff showed their love and gratitude by presenting their warm wishes to ma'am, followed by singing of the birthday song and cutting of the birthday cake.
Worthy Channi ma'am was indeed overwhelmed and expressed her joy and gratitude to all the teachers.
Honourable Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur extended their warm wishes to Channi ma'am and congratulated her on this special day. They showered blessings upon her for a healthy life and success in all her endeavours.

ANNUAL RESULT DECLARATION AT CT PUBLIC SCHOOL
Annual Result Declaration PTM for classes 1-8 was held in CT Public School on 31st March, 2023. The parents were delighted and satisfied to witness the remarkable progress in their children. The students were jubilant to be promoted to the next higher class.
The parents and students gathered around the display board to see their names flashing on it. The top scorers in each class were presented the report cards by the honourable Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel and were the centre of attraction for the day.
It was a great interaction between the teacher and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress report was shown to the parents and their suggestions were noted.
The Principal and Vice Principal appreciated the efforts of all the students and congratulated them on their success.
The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students.

Webinar to create awareness on National Curriculum Framework Foundational Stage
A webinar to create awareness on National Curriculum Framework, Foundational Stage was conducted by CBSE on 28th March, 2023 from 04.00 p.m.to 05.30 p.m. to create awareness and disseminate the aims and objectives of NCF-FS across the country.
This programme was live streamed through Official YouTube Channel of CBSE.
Worthy Principal of CT Public School, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel and all the teachers attended the live session so that they, as practitioners, should be able to relate it to their current realities.
It was very interesting and informative.

A farewell ceremony of Ms. Harkanwal Kaur
A farewell ceremony was organized on the premises of CT Public school on 25th March, 2023 for Mrs.Harkanwal Kaur , a proud faculty member of CT Public School associated with the institute for over 20 glorious years.The occasion was graced by honourable co chairperson of school, Madam Parminder Kaur Channi, worthy Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal, Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur and CT faculty.
The program started with a floral welcome followed by a welcome address speech.
Words of appreciation were shared by colleagues and melodious songs conveying best wishes were presented.
Everyone became too emotional at this touching ceremony. Honourable Principal delivered her best wishes and acknowledged how lucky the school was to get a teacher and a person like Mrs.Harkanwal Kaur.
She further stated that life teaches us to move ahead for better prospectives.
The co chairperson ma’am and Vice Principal ma’am also conveyed their best wishes to Mrs. Harkanwal.
She expressed her gratitude to the worthy school management and most respectable Principal Ma’am for arranging such a beautiful farewell party.
The ceremony ended on an emotional note.
