The students of grade 6 B of CT Public School performed an activity on the topic-'To identify the different types of bones and their functions ' under the guidance of Science teacher, Ms.Sarvjit Oberoi The students participated enthusiastically and were able to understand the concept clearly . CT Public School organized a special session on the Mental Health Awareness in the Main Hall with the vibrant presence of students of grades 6 to 8 under the directions of Honourable Principal Ma'am, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel, on 7th February, 2023 .
The resource persons on this occasion were Ms.Shreya Dogra and Ms.Yashica, masters in psychology and working for child care and education. The purpose of this session was to be able to help students better understand their mental health and imbibe the best practices to maintain positive mental health. The session was designed to help students understand the basic concept of mental health and well-being; strengthen their coping abilities to counter stress and encourage them to seek help, guidance and support. The entire session was extremely informative.
Our planet is on the brink of destruction. The years of torture that we humans have inflicted upon our planet has taken a toll on it and propelled it towards a point of hopelessness. We are the children of Mother Earth, and it is our duty to save our Earth. To accomplish this goal an activity was conducted with garde VI students of CT Public School Students
The students expressed different ways by which we can save our Mother Earth. They explained 5R (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle , Refuse, Recover) waste management strategy .It is the only way to achieve sustainable development and safeguard natural resources. We should reduce, reuse, and recycle waste to conserve and maintain natural resources. Everyone has the ability to protect the Earth and its resources.

A landscape painting or drawing refers to an artwork whose primary focus is natural scenery, such as mountains, forests, cliffs, trees, rivers, valleys, etc. The students of 10+1 Science were given practical knowledge of the same by their Art teacher, Mrs. Bhawna Arora.

The art of beautiful handwriting: Calligraphy.
It is a craft requiring singularly few tools – the writing pencil and the writing surface; these are the only essentials. The art of calligraphy depends on the scribe having an understanding of the proper use of these two. The students of grade 3rd Adorable, exhibited their writing skills through different forms of calligraphic fonts. The Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel appreciated the good handwritings and motivated the ones who could not write in good formation. The HOD of English Department, Mrs. Meenu Mehta appreciated the efforts of the students.

There are numerous words in the English language that can be used to describe an action that is done by a performer or a group of people that act as the subject in a sentence.
They are called verbs.
Today the students of grade 2nd Adorable were introduced action words using flash cards as the teaching aid. They were able to understand and comprehend well the meaning and examples of action words.

Academic conferences play an important role in the world of academia. An academic conference was organised at CT Public School with all the faculty members. Worthy Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel interacted with the entire staff, exchanged her ideas, shared new insights, and discussed important ways and means to improve pupil’s progress, new ways of teaching and new initiatives. It’s main aim was to ensure that all the activities in a school are running smoothly.
It was really a productive method of deciding all vital things related to the smooth functioning of school.It also helped and motivated the staff to do more. The Principal shared her priorities, goals and school improvement plan for the next year, with the faculty. The meeting ended on a positive note, with the following message for the staff:-
“Just try to be the best you can be; never cease trying to be the best you can be. That’s in your power.”

The students of Class 6th performed Map Activity related to "Continents and their locations" . They performed this activity by labeling and locating places on World Political Map, with great Zeal and enthusiasm. The Union Budget of India, also referred to as the Annual Financial Statement in Article 112 of the Constitution of India, is the annual budget of the Republic of India. The Government presents it on the first day of February so that it could be materialised before the beginning of new financial year in April. Our young CTPians from Grade VIII made beautiful presentation on keypoints of Union Budget in MS PowerPoint .
The main motive behind this activity was to get CTPians introduced to the concept of Budget.

Under the able guidance of our honourable Principal Ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel, the students of CT Public School,Jalandhar witnessed the live telecast of Pariksha Pe Charcha in their smart class room.
During the event, the honourable Prime Minister of India interacted with students, teachers and parents from across the country, and shared valuable tips on how to take board and entrance exams in a relaxed and stress free manner.
The honourable Prime Minister also gave replies to students' queries related to exam stress and other issues.This live event will definitely help the students in overcoming stress in order to celebrate life as an 'Utsav'.

The Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at CT Public School .The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the Honorable Chief Guest, Mrs.Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson of CT Group, accompanied by the Honourable Principal of school, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel.
The Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem and march past by the students to pay tribute to the motherland.The celebration commenced with the address to the students by the school principal in which she highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Hence they need to study well and inculcate good values in life, which will help them to be good citizens of the country.
Further, to mark the importance of this day, a small cultural programme was organized in the school premises which included speech on the significance of Republic Day,patriotic song, poem recitation, patriotic dance , Bhangra and a scintillating performance by tiny tots dressed up as famous personalities.The enthusiasm and confidence shown by the little ones during the ramp walk was beyond the expectations.The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity by their performances.
They truly enjoyed the celebration and dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their mind and heart. May we continue celebrating this day forever!

On the occasion of National Voters Day., 25 January, an awareness session was held for the students making them understand the value of "Vote". The Block Level Officer deputed Ms Verleen Kaur for this purpose and she made the students understand the value of the term 'Vote'.
Along with her, Mr Rajesh Kumar Shukla, examination incharge, Academic Co-ordinater (HOD Mathematics) and Mr Vinod Kumar (HOD) Social Science also motivated the students and taught the meaning of UAF (UNIVERSAL ADULT FRANCHISE) and also how elections are conducted in a free and fair manner.
Also Ms Verleen Kaur, made the students to take a pledge for abiding the rules of Voting and made them to promise that once they turn 18 they would vote for the development of country and choose a good leader for them.
Ms Anuradha Chandel , Principal of CT Public School appreciated the children and teachers for participating effectively in the session.
