COOKING WITHOUT FIRE COMPETITION

Cooking Without Fire Competition was held at CT PUBLIC SCHOOL on 30th October ,2023.It was an inter class activity for students of grades 4th and 5th.
The junior chefs of classes 4th and 5th donned their ‘Chef Caps’ to exhibit their culinary skills in ‘Cooking Without Fire’.They participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in preparing nutritious delicacies . Artefacts and food items displayed were a visual treat and were presented in an artistic and aesthetic style. Dishes were judged on nutrition and taste by esteemed judges, Our Principal ma’am, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur graced the occasion with their presence. They interacted with the budding chefs to find out the ingredients of the recipes, nutritional value and the historical significance of the dishes prepared by them.
Taste, Presentation,Viva and Grooming and Hygiene were the basic criteria for the judgment..The judges were overawed by the efforts of the participants and results were announced amidst tough competition.
First position in Class 5th was bagged by *Team* *8* , Participants were as follows
*Pratika, Aish Noor Kaur, Eknoor kaur and Navika* ,
closely followed by *Team 4,* Participants were *Haradhya , Gurkirat singh Bains, Gurgavin singh, Gurkirat Singh* *Saron* which bagged the second position. Third position was bagged by *Team 2 ,* Participants were -
*Suchita , Bhavya, Aravi and Dakshita.*
In Class 4th *Team 15* , stood first participants were- *Dilneet kaur, Kashish Kalia, Harseerat kaur Bath and Riddhi* *Sahni* . Second position was grabbed by *Team* *19* , participants were - *Gurnoor , Ruhani, Ridham and Sargun.* Third position was secured by *Team 12* , participants were *Chahna ,Aditi and Jasmeen .*
The authorities applauded the efforts of the participants and congratulated them. Principal mam stated that the event not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
