Students of CT Public School participated in 22nd Punjab State Junior Wushu Championship held at Doraha ( Ludhiana) in Guru Nanak National College from 9-11 August 2019.
Participants exhibited their spirit of sportsmanship. Their dedicated and determined efforts can be well seen through their positions.
1.Armaanveer Singh - wushu routine bagged bronze medal.
2.Harpreet Singh - wushu routine nankun secured bronze medal
3.Gursahib Singh displayed great sense of participation
4.Manan Kathuria performed remarkably well
5.Dilpreet Singh showed his wushu skill in with immense perfection
The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh encouraged all the participants with his words of wisdom and added “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat “
Vice Principal Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur also motivated students by saying that “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
