A champion shows who he is by what he does when he's tested. When a person gets up and says 'I can still do it ', he's a champion. Wrestling is a great sport that comes with both many benefits and requirements because wrestling in school would make the cut for a perfect fitness lesson as it is a recipe for physical and mental fitness and a distraction from toxic digital content. It helps to instill discipline and is a great calling to commitment and focus.
Sukhraj Singh, a X grade student is proud wrestler of CT Public School. He participated in the 39th Sub Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship hosted by Guru Harsahai and bagged the 2nd position. He won three bouts from Faridkot, Kapurthala and Ferozepur. However, he lost his final bout by 8/4 points from Amritsar.Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur applauded the commendable efforts of the young wrestler and wished him success for his future ventures. Mr.Singh quoted the words of Dan Gable that, "Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts".
