FLN Certification

Foundational Learning is children's ability to read with meaning and do basic math calculations by class 3. FLN refers to a child’s ability to read simple sentences with meaning and solve basic math problems by the end of Class 3. These are critical gateway skills that help children learn meaningfully in higher classes and help them acquire 21st Century skills like critical thinking and problem solving which are imperative to succeed in the long run.

The aim of FLN mission is to ensure that children learn in a joyful manner through play, stories, rhymes, activities, local art, craft and music and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning. The mission outlines learning outcomes which have been designed in a spiral and progressive manner from Preschool to grade three aiming at holistic development and learning.
CT Public School has recognized Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) as an urgent and necessary prerequisite to learning.

Literacy and numeracy skills are particularly important for productivity as they provide the foundation to develop other skills.The efforts of CT staff are praiseworthy as all have successfully completed the FLN training programme.
