World Telecommunication Day is a globally celebrated event that recognizes the important role of communication technology in our daily lives. It is observed annually on May 17. This day is dedicated to promote awareness on the significance of telecommunication and how it has transformed the way we communicate and share information.
To mark this day, an Inter-House Declamation Competition was conducted in CT Public School where the students expressed their ideas and thoughts in very innovative ways of which the results are as follows:
First position was bagged by Meenal of Nelson Mandela House.
Second position was bagged by Sana Mahendru of Mother Teresa House.
Third position was bagged by Haishita of Kalpana Chawla House.
Honourable Principal Ms. Anuradha Chandel said that this day is dedicated to promoting awareness on the significance of telecommunication and how it has transformed the way we communicate and share information. She also congratulated the winners and motivated other participants to do well in future.
