'If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.'
Empathy is one of the most important aspects of creating harmonious relationships, reducing stress and enhancing emotional awareness. Empathy is not sympathy. Empathy is more a sense that we can truly understand, relate to or imagine the depthof another person's emotional state or situation. It implies feeling with the person rather than feeling sorry for a person. Dr Kavita Kaushal presently working in Bathinda as a principal in college of Physiotherapy Adesh University Bathinda was invited by CT Public school to deliver a lecture on empathy under the program 'Parents ki Pathshala'. She made children understand how to be helpful and cooperative to others.
