To encourage the young minds to appreciate and perfect themselves in the field of Hindustani Classical Music, and to bring out the best amongst the competitors, an open competition in Hindustani Classical Music was started by Shree Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Mahasabha (Regd.), Jalandhar - Punjab in the year 1979. Since then it is organized every year and CT PUBLIC SCHOOL was fortunate enough to participate in this competition.The following students participated in Saraswati Vandana snd Harivallabh Vandana and won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.1100 for their remarkable performance.

The enchanting & melodious voices of the young CTian singers and the harmonious notes of Harmonium and tabla played by madam Kiran Sharma and Mr.Neeraj,the music faculty of CT
touched the souls of enlightened audiences.
This magnificent achievement was appreciated by the great musicians, the devoted audience and the dedicated ‘Harivallabh’ team.
The Principal of CT, Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur felt elated at this achievement and said CT would continue to participate in such events in future as well so that the students develop love for the Indian classical music.
For some it is a matter of sheer devotion,
for some it is a pilgrimage and
for some it is a mission to preserve the best in Indian Classical Music,
that attracts them to this Sangeet Sammelan and
to receive the blessings from the great seat of music.
