CT Public School organized a meaningful and engaging activity for the students of Grades 4 and 5 with the aim of promoting environmental awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature and birds.

During the activity, students enthusiastically participated in creating bird feeders using simple and eco-friendly materials. The handmade feeders were then carefully placed and hung on trees within the school premises, transforming the campus into a more nature-friendly space.

Keeping in mind the intense summer season, the school also took an additional thoughtful step by placing small pots filled with water near the trees. This initiative was taken to ensure that birds have access not only to food but also to clean drinking water during the scorching heat.

The activity proved to be highly educational as it helped students understand the importance of caring for living creatures and maintaining ecological balance. It encouraged them to develop empathy towards birds and awareness about environmental conservation in a practical and hands-on manner.

The program was conducted under the guidance and support of Principal Ms. Manisha Basnet, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. She emphasized that such activities play a vital role in nurturing environmental sensitivity and responsible citizenship among young learners.
