Jalandhar: Students of CT Public School, Jalandhar, once again brought pride to the school by delivering exceptional performances in prestigious state and national-level swimming championships.

At the Punjab Sub-Junior State Swimming Championship, held at Ferozepur on 17–18 July 2026, Karanveer Singh (Class IX-A) won an impressive 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals. His achievements included Gold medals in the 4×50m Medley Relay and 4×100m Freestyle Relay, Silver medals in the 50m and 100m Backstroke, and Bronze medals in the 200m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle events.

In the same championship, Manya Suman (Class IX-B) secured 1 Gold and 1 Bronze medal, winning Gold in the 4×100m Medley Relay and Bronze in the 4×100m Freestyle Relay.

Adding another feather to the school's cap, Tavisha Sharma (Class XI – Arts) won a Bronze Medal in the 100m Backstroke at the CBSE North Zone-II Swimming Championship, held at Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot, from 20 to 22 July 2026.

Continuing her remarkable form, Tavisha also excelled at the Punjab Junior & Senior State Swimming Championship, held at Sangrur from 24 to 26 July 2026, where she won two Silver medals in the 4×100m Medley Relay and 4×100m Freestyle Relay, along with two Bronze medals in the 200m Individual Medley (IM) and 100m Backstroke events.

The school congratulated the students and appreciated the dedicated efforts of Swimming Coach Mr. Raman Sharma, whose guidance played a significant role in these achievements.

Principal Mrs. Manisha Basnet congratulated the young swimmers on their outstanding performances and said, "These remarkable achievements reflect the students' dedication, perseverance, and sporting spirit. We are immensely proud of their success and appreciate the relentless efforts of our coach, Mr. Raman Sharma. We wish our champions many more accomplishments at the national and international levels."
