CT Public School celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm, honouring the spirit of freedom, unity and national pride. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, followed by a meaningful Green Welcome, wherein saplings were presented as a symbol of growth, sustainability and a greener India.

The dignitaries included Lt Col Nirav Pathania, Subedar Major Saravana and Naib Subedar Suba, whose presence added special significance to the occasion. The school also welcomed Dr. Anurag Sharma, Campus Director, Maqsudan, Principal Mrs. Manisha Basnet and Kindergarten Coordinator Mrs. Suman Bhalla.

The celebration proceeded with the flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a solemn salute and the National Anthem. The unfurling of the Tricolour evoked a strong sense of pride and gratitude among everyone present. The significance of the saffron, white and green colours, along with the Ashoka Chakra, was highlighted as a reminder of courage, peace, prosperity, righteousness and continuous progress.

Adding to the patriotic spirit, the NCC cadets of CT Public School presented an impressive parade, showcasing discipline, coordination and dedication. Their confident march was warmly applauded by the gathering.

The programme also featured a captivating patriotic Qawwali and musical performance by CT Musical Society, which beautifully expressed love for the motherland through soulful music and powerful performances by the students.

The celebration served as a poignant reminder that the freedom enjoyed today is the result of immense sacrifice and courage. The school emphasised that true patriotism lies not only in celebrating Independence but also in fulfilling our responsibilities as responsible citizens and contributing towards the progress of the nation.
