CT Sunshine Kindergarten celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great warmth, enthusiasm and affection, honouring the invaluable role of grandparents in children’s lives. The celebration commenced with a heartfelt welcome to the esteemed guest, Ms. Kumud Sharma, Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Camp, Jalandhar. With an illustrious career in education since 1997, she has served as a lecturer and principal, promoting academic, cultural and sports excellence. She is a recipient of the State Teacher Award 2026 and has also undergone international training in Singapore.

The programme was graced by Honourable Management Co-Chairperson Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Vice Co-Chairperson Advocate Manjinder Kaur,Ms Taruna, Principal CT Public School Ms. Manisha Basnet, and Kindergarten Coordinator Ms. Suman Bhalla.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the Principal’s address and a heartfelt gratitude speech by KG-2 students. Children enthralled everyone with delightful group dances and melodious songs, while the grandparents added charm through a lively modelling presentation.

The celebration continued with exciting games including Nail Paint, Passing the Parcel with a Questionnaire Round, and Clip the Hanky. Grandparents participated enthusiastically, creating moments of joy and laughter.

The memorable celebration concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Suman Bhalla, expressing gratitude to all the guests, grandparents, students and staff for making the occasion truly special.
