DANA PANI ACTIVITY

The basis of any effective academic environment is the love, understanding and compassionate feelings. All of us get opportunities to do good. Our real potential comes out and flourishes when we use it and accomplish the task. To continue the trend to do noble deeds, CT Public School has joined hands with “Dainik Bhaskar” to perform “Dana pani ” activity for the birds.

Young students of  CT had brought earthern pots for the birds so that they can prove themselves the pioneers to save the birds from getting extinct. With this little move, the young CTians acquired the ability to take decisions, trust their judgement and learn to have faith in their abilities .

This activity of the students  must be blessed by the divine spirit. At the end, I would like to say,” To ride well, learn to decide well ”. It is perfectly true one can do well in his life and career only when one’s decision is taken in time and applied well.

SELF DEFENCE - AN INITIATIVE BY CT TO PROTECT GIRLS

In the fast developing society, where women empowerment is greatly accentuated,  frequent incidents of crimes against the fair sex looms large in all the leading newspapers and electronic , media. The incidents are endless and figures show an alarming rise in atrocities inflicted on women. Every 26 minutes a women is molested. Every 34 minutes a rape takes place.

Every 42 minutes an incident of sexual harassment occurs. The issue is not only of gender abuse, it is to recognize the right to every individual to exist as a human being and not live as subordinate sex. Violence against women is the most pervasive human rights violation in the world today. The plight of today’s women is a cause of great concern and malaise for the CT Educational Society which has undertaken the Herculean task of educating and sensitizing the public about gender emulation. CT Public School has embarked a self defence programme and self protection session for the girls as they are victimized by malicious and pernicious assailants who lack humanity and morality.

This laudable   program has been incorporated in the CT curriculum for the girls on regular basis whereby the girl students would be trained by experts. Self defence is an important priority for women. Assault on women is rampant as the assailants bearing Satanic hearts cannot restrain their devilish desires assume that women will be more passive and not fight back. In the tutorial, the girls are counseled that when their safety is endangered defending herself by fighting back is the most ethical decision she can make. The best personal defence is usually an explosive counterattack. Most women are assaulted by someone they know and 40 percent of the time the crime will happen in the victim’s home. The women should be watchful at all times.  The best self defence is awareness. The more informed they are, the better they will be prepared lest a predator targets them. By empowering themselves with knowledge and being mentally prepared for any untoward assault, the fear of it will diminish. “Anyone who is aware of his environment knows that the peril of physical assault does exist, and that it exists everywhere and at all times”.

The girls were advocated to be vigil when they moved out doors and should always follow their intuitions. They ought to be decently dressed in public. They were advised to be very observant and inappropriate behavior of anyone should caution them. They were advised to keep sharp instruments of pepper sprays in their bags lest they were overtaken by their marauder. Facing the possibility of being the target of a violent crime is frightening, but there’s no need for women to live a paranoid-filled life. Girls should be able to take smart decisions, like avoiding unnecessary risks, learn to trust intuition and how to defend themselves.

CT Cricketers Bring Laurels

CT Public School lays great emphasis on sports as it is invaluable. It instills lessons and values like discipline, responsibility, self confidence, sacrifice, and accountability that are essential in the life of a student. Physical fitness is of the utmost importance for everyone, young and old. Participation in games and sports invariably ensures good health, fitness and, generally, freedom from ailments of various types. Also, unless the human body is kept in smooth trim and in an overall fit condition, even the brain will refuse to co-operate after some time. Actually, physical fitness is essential for proficiency in studies and for winning distinctions in examinations. With this view, the school has taken the initiative to prepare students for various sports by imparting exceptional training through professional coaches which has greatly enhanced the standard of sports in the school.

The sport stars of CT Public School have once again proved their mettle by getting selected in the State Level Cricket Tournament in the under -16 category. A magnificent tournament was organized for the under- 16 category in the month of April and May, by the Punjab Cricket Association. 23 students from various schools across the state were selected for the state level tournament. Manthan and Gaurav Chaudhary from CT Public School won kudos for getting selected to represent the state. The Principal of the school Mrs. Ranjana Rajput congratulated the students for their exemplary performance and encouraged them to carve their name at the state level too.
