CT BAGS POSITION IN FANCY DRESS

 Fancy dress competition was organized by Baba Lalavani public school, Kapurthala on 7^th sept under the aegis of sahodaya  independent  schools in which more than 40 CBSE school participated. Manya Sharma a UKG sudent of CT public school dressed as mini mouse of the Disney world bagged 3^rd position with her beautiful attire and expressions brought into life, this cartoon diva and enthralied the audience her performance was greately applauded by all and she made her school, teachers and parents feel elated.Mrs Ranjana Rajput, Principal CT public school congratulated the parents and teachers for their efforts and expressed that all the students have hidden talents which should be probed in by the teachers.

JCI organized PAINTING COMPETITION in which 67 students of our school  participated and from which Kunwarvir Lehri of  6^th-A, got Second position, Samarth Sharma & Jai of 5^th-A, Mahika & Suhas of 3^rd and Disha of 2^nd got consolation prizes.

CTPians shines in Tech Fest 2013 organised by Apeejay College

APEEJAY COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS organized a Tech-Fest 2013 in which 22 Students participated from which Karamjot of +2(Non-Med) got 3^rd Position in GUSTAKHI MAAF competition and Rashi of 9^th B and Yashana of 9^th-A got 3^rd Position in SCULPTURE MAKING competition. Aastha Khurana & Shivani Chaudhary of +1 got Consolation Prize in POWER POINT PRESENTATION.

Kavya, Krisha, Harshita, Supriya, Harsimrat of LKG, Simarprabj of 1^st, Ritul of 2^nd, Divya of 3^rd, Joyna of 5^th got Avantika Appreciation Award.

DISTRICT CHILD WELFARE SOCIETY ORGANIZED NATIONAL PAINTING COMPETITION in which 6 Students participated in which Samarth Sharma of 5^th-A won a Consolation prize.

CTians shines in Football Tournament

A Football Tournament (under-12 category) held in IVY World School on 5th and 6th Oct 2013 . In this total 16 teams participated namely -- Police DAV , CT Public school , Suman Day Boarding school, Cambridge Gems Hoshiarpur, Cambridge Dasuya, State Public School, MGN Public Jalandhar,DIPS Dhilwan etc. The players of C T Public School played 5 matches out of which 3 were the league and 2 semifinals based on knock out basis. The final match was played between C T Public School and Police DAV School. and CTians won the RUNNNERS - UP Trophy.

 RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Matches up to Quarter Finals will be of 15 overs.

2. Matches at Semi-final and final level will be of 20 overs.

3. A maximum time given to each team to bowl 15 overs will be 75 mins. After that 1 over penalty for each 5 min. will be imposed.

4. Players wearing complete white kit will only be allowed to play, others will not be   entertained.

5. Umpire’s decision will be considered as final decision.

6. Objection (if any) will be entertained if it is given in writing with objection fee Rs.500/-.No objection will be entertained after the conclusion of match.

7. If a team does not report within 15 min. from the given scheduled time than the opposite team will be awarded walk over.

8. Refreshments will be provided during match.

9. I-cards and original (ATTESTED) documents supporting school Performa of players will be checked before every match.

10. No team will be entertained without their coach/manager.

11. The Coach/ Manager is responsible for any In disciplinary action by the team/player.

CTPS Karate Team Clinches Bronze

 A team of CT Public School participated in North India Karate Competition held on September 29, in Bhupinder Global School at Malerkotla. Our karate enthusiasts. Paramveer Singh and Bhavish Prabhakar, both students of Grade IX bagged bronze medals in the Kumitte event of under – 15 age category.

Their moves, both offensive and defensive were immensely appreciated by the judges. Trained by Mr Sudesh Kumar,karate coach, they made their school proud and set an example for the students to adopt Karate as self-defence to shield and protect themselves from untoward incidents. The Principal , Mrs Ranjana Rajput congratulated the winners and the coach for their success.

ENTRY PERFORMA

CT PUBLIC SCHOOL HOSTS "C.B.S.E NORTH ZONE II SWIMMING COMPETITION”

To enhance the spirit of sportsmanship and promote the beneficial facet of sports, ‘Four days C.B.S.E NORTH ZONE II Swimming Competition’ was inaugurated at CT Public School by the Chief Guest, S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions in the presence of Manbir Singh, Managing Director, Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, Dr. Manoj Kumar Group Director, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Director CTIMIT and other dignitaries.

The campus was bubbling with a contingent of about 800 swimming enthusiasts flanked from more than80 schools of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi to participate in the tournament. The tournament was declared opened by S. Charanjit Singh Channi, by releasing vibrant balloon infusing a spirit of celebration, competition and excellence among the contestants. The swimmers participated in various events like 100 mts, 200 mts, 400 mts , backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle , butterfly and medley relay in all the categories.  

On first day 26 events were performed under different categories of age group 12,14, 15 and 19 years in which 30 teams, including CT Public school; from renowned CBSE Schools participated with great zeal and fervor. Participants proved their worth in Free Style, Back Stroke, Butterfly & Breast stroke.

In 400m boys freestyle swimming competition Aniket Joon, Dav Public School,  Gurgaon won the gold medal and Munish Kumar from Police Dav School Jalandhar,Manjeet Khatri,Shah satnam boys school,Sirsa won the silver & bronze  medal respectively.

In 400m girls freestyle swimming competition Ishpreet Kaur, CFC Public School,  ludhiana won the gold medal and Pragya verma  from Police Dav School Jalandhar,Pooja, shah satnam girls school,sirsa won the silver & bronze  medal respectively.

In 200m boys butterfly swimming competition Priyank, blue bells model  School, Gurgaon won the gold medal and Nitin Tyagi  from Gateway International School, Sonipat, Sahib Singh,DPS School Ludhiana  won the silver & bronze  medal respectively.

S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman CT Group of Institutions, in his inaugural address motivated all the participants to play with true sportsmanship sprit. He also said,” Such competitions are very important for the development of the students. The students should participate in such events. The intent of organizing sports events is to provide good sportsmen to the country. We are very delighted to see a sea of sports enthusiasts at the campus. I accord good wishes to all the players that they may come out with the best of skills in them to bring laurels for their respective school. I also want that each player should prefer to play under exhibition of true sportsman spirit, rather than aspiring to be a winner alone.”

JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATED WITH FERVOR

 Lord Krishna blessed the little angels of CT Kindergarten who celebrated Janamashtmi with great devotion and fervor. The festival was celebrated on the eve of the birthday of Lord Krishna who was born in Mathura, UP, and marks the beginning of a string of festivals that come in succession in the month of Shravana and brings great moments of joy and happiness for the people. Everybody, from tiny-tots to teachers were attired in colourful garbs and danced to the tunes of bhajans  of Lord Krishna, Radha and the Gopies.
