Mathematics Activity

A 2D net is a representation of a 3D object. A net shows what a 3D object would look like if it were opened out flat. A 3D object has three dimensions.The students of class 8th performed an activity on how to make 2D net of three dimensional shape under the guidance of their teachers.The Principal ,Ms.Anuradha Chandel and HOD, Mr.Rajesh kumar Shukla appreciated the efforts of the students.

Mathematics Activity

"The Best way to teach Mathematics concepts is to make them Learn Experientially. "
The students of 7th Class performed Maths Activity related to 2D Nets of 3D objects . They performed this activity by cutting 2D nets of Cube and Pentagonal Pyramid and then pasting them on thier Math Activity book. Our School Principal, Ms. Anuradha Chandel and Maths HOD, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla appreciated the efforts of students and Math faculty for engaging students in fun filled learning activities.

Storytelling Activity

The students of class 1 participated in a storytelling event where they were divided into two sections. Each section was tasked with telling a story using props and showcasing their confidence while presenting. The students used a variety of props to bring the story to life. They also used different voices for each character and used gestures to show emotions. They showed great confidence in their presentation and the audience was fully engaged throughout the story. The group's storytelling was well received by the audience and principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel. Overall, the storytelling event was a great success. Both sections showed a high level of creativity and confidence in their presentations. They did a great job of bringing the stories to life and keeping the audience engaged. The event was a great way for the students to showcase their storytelling skills and have fun at the same time.

Science Activity

The modern world is rich with examples of complex machines whose workings are seldom understood. Simple machines can be regarded as the elementary "building blocks" of all more complicated machines.
Students of grade 5 learned about different types of simple machines and their functions in day-to-day life. They prepared posters of different machines to show their day to day use under the guidance of Ms.Dheeru and Ms.Saravjit oberoi.
The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and HOD Science Department ,Mr. Sanjesh appreciated the way students responded and learnt.

Science Activity

"We can teach from our experience, but we cannot teach experience.”
Science is a systematic endeavor that builds and organizes knowledge.Students of grade 7 prepared an electric circuit by using different components like cell , LED bulbs , switch and connecting wire under the guidance of Science teacher ,Ms.Dheeru Narang. The students were able to understand open and close circuits more clearly .
The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and HOD Science Department ,Mr. Sanjesh appreciated the way students responded and learnt something new as now they would be able to handle electric components for performing experiments in a creative manner.

TULIP FLOWER MAKING with ORIGAMI TECHNIQUE

The Origami activity was conducted on 24th January, 2023 in grade first. Children participated in this creative venture with great zeal and high spirits. The students had to make Tulip Flowers and Birthday cards.The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Mrs. Bhawna Arora ,HOD Fine Arts Department appreciated the efforts put in by the little ones.

Science Activity

The students of CT Public School of grade 3rd Grade were introduced with the Topic : Responsible Waste Management
As citizens of a society we have a responsibility to manage our waste sustainably. We can do this following the five R's of waste management: reduce, reuse, recycle, recover and residual management.
Students understood the importance of Waste management that we should dispose off the wet and the dry wastes seperately.
Leftover food and dead plants are examples of wet waste . Similarly,glass and paper waste are examples of dry waste .Disposing of the materials seperately will help us in recycle materials and keep the soil clean .
The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and HOD Science Department ,Mr.Sanjesh Kumar appreciated the way students learnt something new as now they will be able to manage the Dry and Wet waste properly.

CT Kindergarten infuses such values by conducting regular morning family assembly so that children are attached with spirituality and calmness.
Regular morning assembly helps children to build up confidence by speaking on the stage and enhancing their communication skills.

English Activity

The English language contains an extraordinary number of words used to describe a noun and they are called Adjectives. Today the students of grade 3rd Adorable were introduced Adjectives using flash cards as the teaching aid. They were able to understand and comprehend well the meaning and examples of Adjectives.
The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and HOD English Department ,Mrs. Meenu Mehta appreciated the way students responded and learnt something new as now they will be able to tell the different kinds of Adjectives around themselves.

English AV Lab Activity

To promote the learning process of students through digital media, CT Public School has designed an Audio-Visual lab, well equipped with LCD projector, DVD players, scanners, microphones, TV screen, digital pointer and various CDs and DVDs to cater the interests of the students of various standards.
Today, the students of grade 6th Adorable visited the AV Lab with their teacher Ms. Meenu Mehta where she gave them a lesson on the topic,’Quantifiers’ and showed them videos related to the same.
Furthermore the Principal, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel motivated and inspired the students to learn and perform better in order to become the achievers.

94.3 MY FM organizes "MY FM ke Rangrezz" in CT Public School

Making Children aware about ' Punjabi Virasat', CT Public School has undertaken an initiative in association with FM RJ Garry to conduct an event on the topic,’My FM K Rangrej' in which the students were asked to paint ' Punjabi Virasat ' on Canvas.

The event was held at CT Public School for the students to spread the impression of Punjabi culture and to familiarize the students with their culture.

The activity was conducted under the able guidance of our Worthy Principal Ma'am, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel.She said that it is important to imbibe the virtues of Punjabi Culture in school so that today's students should learn about rich states and traditions of Punjab .The Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur further added that it always motivates the students and we will continue organizing such socially engaging activities in future too.

Session on Road Safety, rules and regulations

Our school organised a special session on Road Safety, Rules and Regulations in the Main Hall with the vibrant presence of students of Grade 9 and Grade 11Arts, Science and Commerce under the directions of Honourable Principal Ma'am,Ms Anuradha Chandel.
The resource persons on this occasion were of Punjab Police namely,Inspector Gurdeep Lal, Inspector Sanjeev Barod and Inspector Gaganjeet Kaur(Women Cell).They were given a cordial welcome by the Principal and Vice Principal. They devoted their precious time among the students for awareness on wearing Helmet, carrying Driving Licence and never to cross Red Light and no extra silencer to be used which is quite evidently found among teenagers. However, they also put forward some important numbers for our safety and security around the clock like one can dial; numbers like 1031, for women safety 181, 112. They also made it clear to us that at night, if one would not catch up on any public transport for reaching his or her destination, one can dial 1091 to the Punjab Police.

Movie Time- Chaar Sahibzade

The children of class 4 and 5 had their movie time on 18th January 2023. They were shown the movie ‘Chaar Sahibzade'.The children were quite excited about the movie.To commemorate 26th December every year as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ to pay homage to the great valour and supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji, the younger sons of the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh ji, on 26th December 1704, at the tender age of 9 and 7 years respectively, in their quest for justice.The Purpose to show this movie to Children was to to pay homage to the courage of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singhji, younger sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs.
This movie was shown to create awareness about the sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji, younger sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs and to enable students to acquire the qualities of sacrifice, courage, steadfastness,confidence, mindfulness, and others as exhibited by the Sahibzadas.

ASSEMBLY BY:CT Kindergarten
School assembly inculcates values, responsibility, care, consideration for others and team spirit among students. The Kindergarten presented the assembly on January 17,2023.
The assembly started with positivity of the morning prayer and was followed by the thought of the day, Rhyme, Energetic Song and Presentation of Shapes. The students worked together as a team and presented a melange of thoughts, ideas and expressions.Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel was welcomed during the assembly. She gave tips and told the benefits of being focused and disciplined in life and concentrating on the objectives in life.Overall, It was a well presented and inspiring assembly.

Lohri Celebrations

                                                              Makki de roti te sarson da saag,
                                                        Suraj diyaan kirna, khushiyaan di bahaar,
                                                           Nachde ne saare te vich baldi aag,
                                                            Dhol di awaaj te nachdi mutiyaar,
                                                       Mubaarak hove sarkaar Lohri da tyohaar.


Lohri was celebrated at CT Public School, with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The mood on the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri.

A small celebration was there in which the students from senior wing participated. A speech on lohri was delivered by Harkirat Kaur of grade 9th which showcased her marvellous oratory skills. All the students stole the show by singing the Group song with Ms. Kiran mam.Harshita and Haradhya enthralled everyone when they danced .Girls of 9th & 10th were dressed up as Punjabi mutiyaars and performed giddha, the folk dance of punjab under the guidance of Ms.Kanika. Mr.Rajesh Kumar , a proud faculty of CTPS mesmerized everyone with his self written Punjabi Poem.The Concluding Speech was given by Ms.Dheeru Narang and Ms.Hema Bhasin.
The Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur joined them with the hope that the coming year would bring happiness in the lives of the students and teachers as well. They emphasised that lohri festival prompts people to be thankful for God's provision and also encourage #teachers to play a vital role to keep the tradition and culture alive in our festivities.

Lohri Celebrations in CT Public School

Lohri was celebrated with traditional joy and gaiety on 13th January,2023 in CT Public School , Jalandhar. The celebration began with Principal Ms Anuradha Chandel , Vice-Principal Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur and Daljeet Sir lighting the bonfire and wishing everyone a joyous Lohri and a happy New Year.
The mood on the campus was upbeat and the teachers were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. The function continued with traditional Punjabi songs, sung by the teachers, mirroring the zestful Punjabi life and the importance of the festival of Lohri,which ushers in the cheerful spring season bidding adieu to the dull winter.
The teachers took part in various fun filled games enthusiastically.The Principal Ma'am concluded the function by telling about the significance of the festival and urged us to make the most of the opportunities in the year that lay ahead of us.
